This web site began in April
1998 with the launch of Drimala Records. We make no compromises for commercial
considerations in selecting what should or should not be released, only that our artists and their music be of the utmost in honesty
and integrity. As a result, you will find that some of our CDs are not suitable for the background. They demand to be listened to and thought about...rather passionately, we might add. On the other hand, you will also find that many of our CDs are very suitable for listening to within the quiet conversation of a close friend or the quiet reflection of a moment. Just like we don't have the other music on this web site categorized into neat predetermined styles, don't try to categorize our music by convenient cliches. As the internet has created a world without borders, so too are we trying to create music without borders. Just listen with an open mind and think about the concept of a world without borders.
