Southern Extreme
Drimala
Records is extremely proud to present Southern Extreme as our
first release. This group of veteran musicians represent probably the most under
documented group of musicians from their generation. Each of these musicians has
played a pivotal role in the development of the jazz tradition, yet their artistic
documentation has, for the most part, been limited to hard to find European or
out-of-print releases. Their music deserves to be heard... which is why we selected
this particular recording to be our first.
"Southern Extreme is a powerful statement that
is rousing to the senses and inspires the thinking mind. It will not disappoint."
-- Fred Jung
