The Duo Recordings

Luc Houtkamp (alto and tenor saxophones)
   with
George Lewis, Gert-Jan Prins, John Russell,
Martin Blume, Wiek Hijmans, Lori Freedman,
Ned Rothenberg, IMISAM II, Günter Christmann

A series of duo recordings from 1992-1998 that reflect the amazing range of Houtkamp's aesthetic.  What is most interesting about these recordings is the way that Houtkamp interacts with each of his partners in a way that complements their style to make the whole greater than the sum of its parts.
