Good Company Good Company is Janet Marlow's fourth CD. Released in 1994, the CD features one of the best contemporary jazz bands working today with bassist Mark Egan and drummer Danny Gottlieb (original members of Pat Metheny's group), keyboardist Pete Levin from Gil Evan's orchestra, saxophonist Alex Foster from Mile's band, trumpeter Lew Soloff (BST fame), and Brazilian percussionist, Cafe. Get with your good company, pour a nice glass of wine, and put on the smooth silky sounds of this CD...a sure recipe for magical evening. Ten tracks in 40 minutes from an artist Guitar Player described simply as "a player of passion and grace." If you like this cd, we think you might also enjoy listening to Janet Marlow on these excellent recordings: |
