Burnt In Light From the master of the solo improvisational form, this recording is not easily forgotten. It is without wonder that Evan choose this recording to start PSI Records...it may be one of his finest recordings ever! His soprano will take you to places your mind didn't know existed. If you are ready for the journey, this record comes with our highest recommendation! 3 tracks in 62:20 minutes If you missed this cd, you might also enjoy listening to: Live At Unity Temple (Steve Lacy) Six of One (Evan Parker) Chicago Solo (Evan Parker) Spectral Soprano (Lol Coxhill) Dark Rags (Keith Rowe - Evan Parker) Space (Mitchell, Buckner, Oshita) Ayn Le-Any (Assif Tsahar) Unity Variations (Evan Parker - Georg Gräwe) Places to Go (Jack Wright) Souls and Masters (Liebman and Gerber) The Eighth House: Riding with Pluto (Harrison and Santos) The Grass Is Greener (Parker and Bennink) |
