Two high energy improvisations lasting over an hour, both propelled by drummer Tony Bianco.  This is one of those recordings where you just put it on and sit back and enjoy the ride.  High octane work that reminds one of why we have cds instead of LPs.

The first disc features Bianco, Dunmall on tenor and Mattos.  The second disc features Bianco, Dunmall on soprano and Rogers.   As Bianco says, "To me the recordings reflect the seasonal changes going on at the time.  The first feels like the sun trying to emerge behind winter's darkness, while the second feels as if the sun is in command and summer is on its way."
