The Shell Game
   Tim Berne (alto saxophone)
   Craig Taborn (electronics)
   Tom Rainey (drums)

The Shell Game easily rates as one of Tim Berne's best works as he continues his no-holds barred approach to in your face music.   You either go along for the ride or sit it out...about that simple.  Joined for the first time (I believe) by Craig Taborn on keyboards, Berne finds a highly complementary partner.  Taborn stays in the background, when necessary,   providing a textured expansive backdrop for Berne to work in front of while long time associate Bob Rainey keeps the music driving along.

Comes highly recommended.
