Originally released in 1997, but out of print since then, this new reissue brings together the student with the master in a wonderful series of duets that tells the long story of their vital relationship to one another.   Stevens and Whitecage started playing together in 1984 and have since worked in a variety of groups, but this is the first time the two men have had an opportunity to record in a duo setting.  The duo format offers them a cleaner palatte with more room to stretch out...creating a "miraculous and beautiful artistry."  Comes highly recommended.
