Tears
   COSMOS
   Sachiko M (sinewaves, contact mike)
   Ami Yoshida (voice)

This Tokyo-based duo was formed in 1997, but rarely has the opportunity to perform live.  So this recording is especially welcome.   Tears is taken from two of their rare live performances in 2001 and 2002.  The music incrementally builds an atmosphere of fragile, yet deeply focused intensity, forging a symbiotic fusion between human and electronic expression.

Comes with our highest recommendation as an excellent introduction to the beauty and subtleties that can be found in electroacoustic music at this rarified level.
