Texas Sessions: Chapter Two
Dr. Eugene Chadbourne (guitars, banjo, vocals)
   Susan Alcorn (pedal steel guitar)
   Walter Daniels (harmonica)
   Speedy Sparks (bass)
   Ernie Durawa (drums)

Boxholder has taken a left turn here (course not sure that is possible with that intergalactic genre hopping Chadbourne) and released Chadbourne's tribute to the legendary Doug Sahm with the Texas Sessions: Chapter Two.  With a nice blend of Chadbourne and Sahm songs, this cd is one for that change of pace/intensity that we all need at times.  Highlights include the pedal steel guitar work of Susan Alcorn.
