Somewhere there is an old 1950s black and white movie stuck in a time warp that needs this cd for a soundtrack.  Mário Degado has a cool, almost west coast sound, tempered by a dissonance that is strickly today.  The result is just an excellent disc that is perfect for a lazy afternoon or late night.  The liners are in Portuguese, but you don't need words to enjoy this recording.
