A Bill for Evans

Soul Folks
   Frank Lowe (tenor saxophone)
   Bertha Hope  (piano)
   Ralph Peterson (drums)
   Steve Neil (bass)
   Jack Walrath (trumpet)

This recording is both a celebration of Lowe's lyrical side and a tribute to the great jazz masters...without affectation.  The group explodes with raw beauty and emotion.  There is a sweet soul that enraptures you upon listening as the music swings...hard.  Comes highly recommended.
