Stable Chaos is Rosco Blur's highly promising debut outing as a leader.  A dynamic mixture of lounge music with attitude, the recording has a pervasive groove that is infectuous.  Somewhere between free jazz, with an occassional spoken word overlay, and post bop, Rosco has a feel for the groove, no doubt about it.  His horn work can be passionate, gritty, and wide open...leaving lots of room for his friends.  This recording does not require headpones, just a good day.  Enjoy this one.
