Version Soul
   Ken Vandermark (reeds)
   Nate McBride (bass)
   Hamid Drake (drums)

Formed in 1999, Spaceways Inc comes roaring back with their second release.  This time the trio investigates the middle ground, navigating between funks, souls, reggaies, dubs, jazzes, frees, adn in-betweens...all treated with intelligence and passion.

For some reason, this trio seems to just set Vandermark onto a different plane with his explorations of the american song book.  Comes with our highest recommendation.
