Cryptogramophone Records
Creative musicians push the envelope. They draw inspiration from every imaginable source. Their music transcends and defies categorization. What happens to their music that falls through the cracks?

From California, Cryptogramophone was formed in 1998 to answer this question.  Featuring innovative recordings of creative jazz, Cryptogramophone presents artists who are not afraid to make their music challenging or beautiful as they explore the far reaches of artistic vision and instrumental technique. Creative music is all about emotion and musicianship coming together in the moment...the moment at which composition and improvisation meet to create fine art.

All Cryptogramophone recordings are produced in state of the art recording studios and come in beautifully designed Digipaks. No jewel cases here. Each Digipak is a work of art with images and words designed to complement the music.
