European Echoes
  Manfred Schoof Orchestra

Three years after the first incarnation of the Glove Unity Orchestra, Manfred Schoof convened another large ensemble for a radio project in Bemen.  Working with a unique tripling of pianos, three trumpets, three tenors, and three bassists, the music is very much a product of its day, but still fresh as ever.  Unfortunately, the economics of today prevent the assemblage of this size or class of musicians and so it is refreshing to at least know that once there was a time when music was not dominated by economics.
