Jeb Bishop Trio
   Jeb Bishop (trombone)
   Kent Kessler (bass)
   Tim Mulvenna (drums)

Debut release with Bishop at the helm.  Joined by the Vandermark 5 rhythm section, Bishop creates more blowing space than we are used to hearing in his work with Vandermark.  And, although the space is there, so is the compositional tightness.  The blend is strong and mellow, all at once.   Recommended.
