Slybersonic Tromosome Slybersonic Tromosome featuring Tom Hamilton and Peter Zummo became more than an idea on June 18, 1993 with a recording session and dinner at Zummo Labs studio on Staten Island, in New York City. Two musicians, two engineers, two people. The original encounter led to a continuous collaboration, which has included performances and more recording sessions. The special studio mix on their debut CD chronicles an epic-length co-composition in which Hamilton and Zummo pursue phrase and gesture across the electro-acoustic divide. Their live music features interactive electronic messaging, allowing for real-time modification of and response to the mix. To make this CD, the synthesizer and trombone were recorded separately, then integrated and correlated in the digital-mixing environment. 9 tracks in 58:47 minutes. Limited edition of 600. :::>>> Tell A Friend About This CD From Drimala If you like this cd, you might also enjoy listening to: Jump The Circle (Tom Hamilton and Tom Buckner) Trombolenium (Paul Rutherford) Chicago Defenders (Jeb Bishop and Sebi Tramontana) Specific Gravity (McPhee & Giardullo) The Implicate Order (Swell, Filiano, Grassi, Amado, Curado) Brass City (McPhee & Bishop) River of Sounds (Bergman, Bauer, Maneri) Tuba Libre (Giancarlo Schiaffini) Buzz Soundtrack (ISKRA 1903) A Survivor's Smile (Gary Hassay) Chicago Solo (Evan Parker) Spectral Soprano (Lol Coxhill) Unique Horn (Martin Mayes) Lines Burnt In Light (Evan Parker) |
