Chicago Tenor Duets
   Joe McPhee (tenor saxophone)
   Evan Parker (tenor saxophone)

Eleven tenor duets from two of the world's greatest improvising tenor players...well, the results are exactly what you would expect.  Each listens and plays in beautiful tight harmony with the other, moving from out and out blowing to sensitive slow ballads that are almost inaudible except for the wind coming through their bells.

The first recorded duets between these two veterans comes with our highest recommendation.
