Fables For A New Millennium AACM President, Ernest Dawkins, has been involved with many innovative projects, and this is one that finds him continually moving forward. Working with rising Chicago guitarist extraordinare, Jeff Parker, and the globe trotting Drake, backed by ex-Sun Ra and the original Siegel Schwall Blues Band alumnus, Rollo Radford...this recording just flat turns up the heat. Especially when Drake decides to break out the hand drums and duel with Dawkins. Comes highly recommended. 8 tracks in 56:11 minutes If you missed this cd, you might enjoy listening to: Nonparticipant + Milk (Tricolor) Optometry (DJ Spooky) Masses (Spring Heel Jack) Filacatera (Mário Delgado Quintet) Dénouement (Scott Fields Ensemble) Black Cherry (Parker and Drake) Soul At The Hands Of The Machine (Guillermo E.
